In consideration of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Dream Center (CMDC), Restoring Place Church (RPC), & The King’s Kitchen (KK) allowing me to participate with helping feed, minister to and provide goods to those living on the streets, the undersigned volunteer hereby agrees to donate and offer their personal services, time and labor free of charge to CMDC, RPC & KK, all of which are not-for-profit 501c3 organizations. Volunteer understands and agrees that they are not an employee of CMDC, RPC & KK and are not entitled to any wages and/or benefits associated with their services. Volunteer acknowledges and understands that the activities include work that may be hazardous to the volunteer.
Volunteer further agrees, to release and forever discharge CMDC, RPC & KK, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, invitees, sponsors, cash donors, in-kind donors and all other persons or entities whomsoever, of and from any and all actions, claims, and demands, known or unknown, which Volunteer has or may have in the future arising out of volunteering for CMDC, RPC & KK.
Volunteer understands that this Release discharges CMDC, RPC & KK for any liability or claim that the Volunteer may have against CMDC, RPC & KK with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage that may result from Volunteer’s activities with CMDC, RPC & KK whether caused by the negligence of CMDC, RPC & KK or its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, or otherwise. Volunteer understands that CMDC, RPC & KK does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of any accident, injury or illness.
Volunteer is aware that photos/videos taken during events may be used in future social media and marketing materials and consents to their image being included in these photos/videos.
