Please fill in this application form to register a native New Zealand cultivar with the RNZIH as an International Cultivar Registration Authority (ICRA). Cultivar registration is free and allows cultivar names, origins, parentage and descriptions to be recorded as an important part of our horticultural heritage. Registration helps prevent name repetition, invalid names, confusion over correct identities, and documents a valuable history of introductions. This work is important for promoting a wider diversity of cultivars, native plant and cultivar conservation, and to provide information on plant breeding.
