• Italy Trip Application

  • “In the Shadow of Vesuvius,” is scheduled for Spring Break 2023.

This experience is an excellent opportunity for Brebeuf students to extend their classroom community.  Students who participate will live in a charming, rustic villa in Cumae, the Villa Vergiliana.  The Villa is run by a local Italian family who prepare our food with love daily.

In order to participate, students must be currently enrolled in Latin I (or higher) or have special permission from the language department faculty. Students must be currently in good academic and behavioral standing as indicated by the Dean’s Office. Students must have a valid U.S. Passport (or be in the process of applying for one). Finally, students must plan to attend ALL pre-trip meetings. The preparation for such a trip is extremely important, and each traveler must be aware of particular information and general expectations prior to departure. There are a limited number of spaces and preference will be given to those in Latin. Of course, if there is room we will open the trip up to students in other languages.

If you have any questions, please contact Magistra Catalan at rcatalan@brebeuf.org.
