• Registration for Free Trial Class at NSOHD

    Note: Please verify location. Classes are offered at either Centennial Hall or Brunton Hall.

  • Classes are held at Brunton Hall, located at the NEW Beckwith Township Municipal Office or at Centennial Hall in the heart of Franktown. Please refer to the 2026-2027 Class Schedule (coming soon!) to see when and where classes will be held.

  • IMPORTANT:  You will receive an email confirming the date and time of your trial class. If a message doesn't arrive within 48 hours of completing this form, please directly email nsohd@bell.net before attending the free trial class. 

    What to wear for the trial class:  For this class, please wear shorts, a form fitting t-shirt or tank top, and socks (white knee socks preferred but any socks are fine for the trial class).  If you have ballet or highland shoes, please wear those too, otherwise socked feet are fine!

    RULES for Classes: No parents or unregistered friends allowed in the class except on designated viewing days or in exceptional circumstances, with the permission of the teacher.

    Food and/or chewing gum is NOT allowed in the class. No juice, power aid drinks, etc. Only WATER is allowed.

    No running or horseplay in the studio - we want to stay accident free.

    The studio will be opened 10 minutes prior to first class of the day. For all other classes, out of respect for the class in session, please do not enter studio until five minutes before designated class time - thank you!

    The health and safety of our students is paramount. Students under the age of 8 are not to be left unattended before their class starts. All students must be picked-up promptly at the end of class, by a parent or guardian listed on the student's registration. If someone else will be picking-up your child, the teacher must be notified in advance.

  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: By submitting this registration for participation, I hereby declare that I have the legal authority to register this student for a free trial class at NSOHD and the student is physically fit to participate in dance training. I understand it is my responsibility to inform the director or teacher immediately, verbally or in writing, if there is a change in the student's physical or mental health, not otherwise disclosed on this form. In the event of injury or a change in condition before attending the trial class, medical documentation may be requested by the director in order to participate. As in any activity, in dance class there is some risk of injury to the student. I hereby hold harmless the [Victoria] Nichols School of Highland Dancing (NSOHD), and any persons involved in its operation and organization, of all liability for injury, or other, which might occur from participation in a trial class.
