Individual Needs Registration
In the aftermath of the Caldor Fire, one of the first priorities for West Slope Foundation was addressing the evacuee's immediate basic needs. Due to the devastating impact the fire had on individuals and the community the requests for help seemed endless.

West Slope Foundation ended up developing a number of programs to supply immediate and long-term aid in the form of goods, financial assistance, services and other resources to the impacted Caldor Fire survivors. Those programs have evolved into our Individual Needs Programs, which are available to qualifying* disaster survivors.
Qualifying survivors are determined based on the Individual Needs program requirements. To qualify ALL must apply:*

Disaster Related50% or more loss to home due to direct impact of the disaster (this does not include smoke, ash, or any other damage outside of fire) or your home was completely destroyed. This is verified by the El Dorado County Caldor Fire Structure Status map provided by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department.Home was used year-round as the primary residence.Live(d) within the burn scar.Live in a Recreational Vehicle (RV). This does not include Mobile Homes, Manufactured Homes, or any other factory-built home.Have plans to return to your property or have moved back.None of these apply to household.
