    Volunteer Registraion Form

  • Area of Volunteering:

    1. Graphic Designer - Able to do in English & Chinese. Best to have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, illustrator etc. Able to complete the design within short notice.
    2. Cleaning & Tidying - Able to commit on weekend/ to be able to coordinate with group leaders and other volunteers
    3. Cooks - Able to cook vegetarian meals/ need to plan and prepare food items/ Experience in cooking large quantities of food / to ensure proper food handling / commit on sunday or special events held in the centre / have food & hygiene cert or willing to attend the course
    4. AV & Zoom - technically savvy with AV systems and computers, able to troubleshoot, help to set up before practices and do proper shut down
    5. Floral arrangement - help to arrange flowers for display on the altar
    6. Ritual instrument - learn to play ritual instruments ie. conch shell, drum, cymbal etc
    7. Reciter ( English / Chinese) - fluent in reading dharma text
    8. Puja facilitator - facilitate to set up altar, prayer hall, prepare offerings, etc
    9. Photographer - take pictures and edit pictures for the events. Prefer to have your own set of camera kits.
    10. Website developer - able to construct and maintain the website
    11. Web content developer - Able to do researching, writing, organizing and editing information for publication on websites.
    12. Chinese writer/editor
    13. Accounting -:     
      1. Hands-on experience with accounting software ABSS (MYOB)
      2. Hands-on experience with full set of accounts
      3. Knowledge of accounting software like Xero, Quickbooks Online will be good
      4. Some experience with audit will be a plus too
      5. Accounting students who are willing to learn are welcomed too.



  • The social care team in-charge will be contacting you further for an interview and get-to-know session so that there can be closer match of your area of interest with the beneficiaries to facilitate a more fruitful voluntary experience.

    Subsequently, you will be required fill in a hard copy form for recording purpose and verification process has to be done by the team.
