Trip Registration - Decarbonizing the Gas System, Study Tour to Scandinavia, Sept 2023

Thank you for your interest in i-SUSTAIN’s study tour, “Decarbonizing the Gas System,” to take place September 10 to 15, 2023. We are excited that you are joining us.
Study Tour Cost (All prices are listed in USD)

Regular registration price, double occupancy: $4,995
(Registration form and 50% deposit required to reserve your space. Full payment due by July 14, 2023.)

Late registration price, double occupancy: $5,495
(Registration form or full payment received July 15, 2023 or later)

Single occupancy surcharge: $895

Scholarship recipients, double occupancy: no charge, but you may be responsible for one meal per day. Airfare will be reimbursed up to $1,200 for scholarship recipients, to be paid within two weeks after you participate on the trip.

On a case-by-case basis i-SUSTAIN will consider providing a 50% discount for NGOs (for staff only, not for board members).

The registration fee includes:
- Hotel (4 star or best available standard room - double occupancy. Single occupancy accommodations are available for an additional fee.)
- Breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day
- The program: all site visits and presentations
- All program-related transportation
AIRFARE TO/FROM SCANDINAVIA IS NOT INCLUDED

Guest Rate: $1,500

The guest rate includes shared accommodations, all group dinners, and between city transportation within Scandinavia. It does not include participating in the program itself, including site visits and meetings. If you are paying the guest rate, you do not pay the single occupancy surcharge.

Payment Schedule

A down payment of 50% of the total cost is due with your registration to confirm your space, with the remainder due by July 14, 2023. Registrations received on or after July 15, 2023 must be accompanied by payment in full. For purposes of the cancellation policy, 50% of this full payment will be considered to be your non-refundable deposit.

Important Travel Insurance Information

i-SUSTAIN recommends that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against financial loss in the case of cancellation or interruption of the trip, medical or personal emergencies or other unforeseen events that may cause you to have to change your travel plans.

Cancellation Policy

$1,995 constitutes a non-refundable deposit. If you cancel for any reason on or before September 16, 2022, 50% of any other funds paid to i-SUSTAIN and not used can be applied to a future i-SUSTAIN study tour within a 24-month period. If registrant does not participate in an i-SUSTAIN study tour before 24 months are up, all funds may be forfeited at i‑SUSTAIN’s discretion.

I agree that i-SUSTAIN is not liable for any additional expenses that I may have incurred, such as airfare.
