I consider myself to be a very strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community but I wouldn’t define it as “very strong.”
I haven’t really considered my allyship of the LGBTQ+ community before.
Is “adversarial” the opposite of “ally?” Then that would most accurately describe my relationship to the LGBTQ+ community.

Please let us know how strongly you agree or disagree with the following sentences:
1. I believe marriage equality for LGBTQ+ folks is protected by the 14th Amendment of our Constitution, that the Supreme Court decided Obergefell v. Hodges correctly and this right should be fiercely defended.
*
I wholeheartedly agree with that statement and publicly support marriage equality.
I am supportive of marriage equality personally but believe states should be able to make decisions about their support of marriage equality. Therefore, Obergefell was decided incorrectly.
I totally disagree with the decision in Obergefell. There is no constitutional right to due process, privacy, or equal protection when it comes to marriage equality.
What is Obergefell v Hodges?
2. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Non-binary people exist.
*
I disagree. I believe that the sex listed on your birth certificate is the same as your gender and cannot be changed.
I don’t know. I find the concept of gender identity confusing and/or complicated so I don’t have formed opinions or strong feelings about it.
I agree. I could stand to learn more on the issue but want to be an ally to the trans community.
I strongly agree. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
3. I respect the decision of any person to change their name or pronouns to reflect more accurately who they are.
*
100% Agree. Gender identity can fluctuate, and I respect the decision of any LGBTQ+ person to change their name or pronouns when they need to.
I agree. Sometimes it’s hard for me to change my own language but I try.
I am not sure. I think you are the gender you are and that’s it.
I would like to introduce a bill to ban pronouns.

*
Yes, should I receive an endorsement, I would use WA Equality PAC’s endorsement publicly and ask that you list me on your website and in social media announcements.
I would like to receive your endorsement but due to the dynamics of my race or my jurisdiction, I’d prefer it not to be listed publicly as I will need to be selective about which audiences with which I can share this endorsement.
I'm not seeking your endorsement. Wait, why am I here exactly?
