JUST RAMPS
TERMS & CONDITIONS & PARTICIPANT / SPECTATOR AGREEMENT
Please read carefully before entering or using the facilities.
By booking, entering, spectating or participating at Just Ramps, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Skateboarding, BMX riding, scootering, inline skating and related activities are inherently dangerous.
Participation and presence within a skatepark environment carries a significant risk of:
- Serious injury
- Permanent disability
- Paralysis
- Death
By entering Just Ramps, whether as a participant or spectator, you acknowledge and accept that:
You do so entirely at your own risk.
You voluntarily assume all inherent risks associated with an active skatepark environment.
You are responsible for your own safety and actions at all times.
2. SPECTATORS & NON-PARTICIPATING VISITORS
All spectators and non-participating visitors acknowledge that:
Riders may lose control. Equipment (including scooters, BMX bikes, skateboards or parts thereof) may leave riding areas. Accidental collisions may occur.
There is a risk of being struck by a rider or moving equipment.
By entering the premises, spectators voluntarily assume all inherent risks associated with being present within an active sporting facility.
Spectators must:
- Remain in designated viewing areas.
- Follow all signage and staff instructions.
- Supervise children in their care at all times.
- Not enter riding areas unless authorised.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
3. HEALTH & FITNESS
By participating, you confirm that:
- You are medically fit and physically able to take part.
- You do not suffer from any condition that would make participation unsafe.
- You have sought medical advice where appropriate.
- Activities are not recommended for individuals with heart, back or neck conditions, or those who are pregnant. Participation is undertaken at your own discretion.
4. PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Helmets and protective equipment (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) are strongly recommended at all times.
Participants acknowledge that:
- Choosing not to wear protective equipment significantly increases the risk of serious injury or death.
- Participation without protective equipment is entirely at the individual’s own risk.
- Just Ramps cannot directly monitor every participant at all times.
- Parents/guardians accept responsibility for injuries sustained where a child participates without protective equipment.
5. PARENTAL CONSENT (UNDER 16s)
All participants under 16 must have parental or guardian consent.
The parent/guardian confirms they accept responsibility for the minor’s participation and behaviour.
The parent/guardian acknowledges the inherent risks involved.

- First-time visitors under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Children aged 12 and over may attend unaccompanied at parental discretion.
However:
Allowing a child to attend unaccompanied does not transfer parental responsibility to Just Ramps.
Staff supervise the facility for general safety oversight and rule enforcement only.
Just Ramps reserves the right to require a parent or guardian to remain on-site or collect a child where necessary for safety, welfare or behavioural reasons.
7. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT

8. JUST RAMPS BEHAVIOUR POLICY (3-STRIKE SYSTEM)
These behavioural conditions apply equally to all riders using Just Ramps facilities, regardless of age, experience or additional needs. All behavioural expectations are applied consistently and in the interests of safety and fairness.
Just Ramps operates a structured Behaviour Monitoring System as follows:
Behavioural Report Card:
- If a rider is spoken to regarding behaviour that breaches safety or conduct standards, they may be placed on a Just Ramps Behaviour Report Card.
- The report card is issued where staff determine that behaviour requires monitoring for safety reasons.
- The purpose of the report card is corrective, supportive and preventative.
3-Strike Policy
- If a rider receives three recorded behavioural incidents (“X” marks) within any 10-session period, this will result in a suspension.
- The minimum suspension period is three (3) weeks.
- Just Ramps reserves the right to impose a longer suspension period where deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons.
- Suspension duration is determined solely by Just Ramps management.
Positive Behaviour Recognition
Where a rider completes 10 consecutive sessions without behavioural incident (“tick” marks), they may receive a reward at management discretion, such as an item from the tuck shop or a milkshake.
The reward system is designed to positively reinforce safe and respectful conduct.
Just Ramps reserves the right to remove, suspend or permanently ban any rider where behaviour presents a safety risk to themselves, other users, staff or the facility.
9. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY
Just Ramps reserves the right to refuse admission or require any person to leave where it is reasonable to do so, including for safety, behavioural, safeguarding or operational reasons.
Persons who are visibly intoxicated or suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate.
10. DRUGS & ALCOHOL POLICY
Just Ramps operates a zero-tolerance Drugs & Alcohol Policy.
Management reserves the right, where reasonable cause exists, to:
