At Chaires Capitola Little League, we strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball skills and instill the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, loyalty, integrity, competitiveness, fair play and community pride. We also want to have FUN!! In order to meet these goals, CCLL must maintain a strong Board of Directors. Each year, new members are needed to replace the “aging out” Board Members, who take years of experience with them. We have an ongoing need to recruit new Board members and Tee-Ball, Machine Pitch, and Minor division parents will be the future Leaders of CCLL. Maintaining an adequate number of active Board members will allow each Board Member to fulfill 100% of their assigned duties and responsibilities and will allow us to go above and beyond the routine functions of the league.
The CCLL Board of Directors, is elected from and by the members of the League and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CCLL within the rules of our By-Laws, Constitution, and regulations and policies of Little League International. Annually, the regular membership of the League is required to meet and elect the board of directors. Following the election, the board of directors meets to elect its officers from within the newly elected board. The officers required are: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, player agent, and safety officer and coaching coordinator (Information officer recommended but not required).
