    State/Regional Demand

As a Florida school district or an institution within the Florida College System, you can submit a credential to be considered for inclusion on the Master Credentials List based on state/regional demand. As such, degree and non-degree credentials must be linked to at least one SOC code that is either:

    1) designated by the Labor Market Estimating Conference as an area of concern, either statewide or for an individual region, in the conference product adopted by the conference July 14, 2023; or

    2) included on the Florida Department of Commerce’s 2023-2024 Regional Demand Occupation list, either statewide or for an individual region.

If the credential does not meet the state/regional demand criteria described above but does meet local demand per the Framework of Quality, the application must be submitted by a local workforce development board.
