We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as the Bike Department Manager in our St. George store! As the Bike Dept. Manager, you will spend most of your time as an active, visible leader, motivating and directing the bike/ski shop and bike sales floor. This position requires someone knowledgeable and experienced in bikes, skiing, and snowboarding. We work with the best brands in the industry including Trek, Specialized, Scott, Burton, Salomon, K2, and more! Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee scheduling
• Coach and encourage staff to promote employee development and progress
• Prepare the department for promotions, ensuring signs are accurate and displays are organized
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department sales floor and repair shop
• Familiarize yourself with merchandise to provide quick and accurate product information
• Assist with the purchase of bikes, parts, and services
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of bike mechanic experience
• Experience managing staff or comparable experience in a leadership role
• Work with a sense of urgency and positive energy
• Ability to be objective and calm during stressful situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable approaching and talking with customers
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Calculated delegation abilities
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
