NOTE: The HOST is required to ensure that the Softball BC logo is on all souvenir items and the design has been approved by Softball BC. Failure to do so may result in a fine and ineligiblity for championship events in the future.

The HOST is also required to ensure that there will be at least 50% of the required umpires available in the local area by working with the Provincial and District UIC's to provide details of available umpires or schedule clinics and umpire training. Having sufficient umpires is also part of the HOST's responsibility.

Minor Provincial format is a 4 game round robin and modified double knockout playoff for U15A, U17A and U19A.

Minor Provincial format for U13A, all age categories B and C teams is a 4 game round robin, modified double knock out for top 8 teams and single knock out championship for bottom 8 teams.

Softball BC provides: (1) medals and a commemorative gift for the top 3 teams (gold pool) in all categories as well as medals to the top 3 teams in the single knock out (silver pool) pool; (2) game balls (if provided by our sponsor); (3) $60 for 2 umpires per game; and (4) a championship banner for first place winning team (Gold Pool only). A hosting grant of $200 per team is provided if the minimum hosting conditions are met.
