As the Host please check all of the items that you are able to fulfill:

Opening and Closing Ceremonies (mandatory) which include Territorial Acknowledgement provide Social Event (could be an activity such as a scavenger hunt) provide Skills Event block hotel rooms to accomodate out-of-town teams provide official independent scorekeepers* (see below) provide first aid attendants or medical personnel during the event ensure that Softball BC logo is on all souvenir items and that the design is approved by Softball BC provide MVP awards for round robin games provide adequate changeroom(s) for umpires provide meal tickets or snacks for umpires host more than 16 teams at your event ability to host coaches meeting either virtually up to one week before or in person on the Thursday night before the event provide space/room (if needed) for Softball BC Board Representative
U13 Regionals have a 3 game round robin format with a single knockout playoffs for all teams.

Softball BC will provide: medals for top 3 teams in each pool, payment of $60 for 2 umpires per game (if current motion passes) and game balls (if provided by sponsor). $100 Hosting grant per team if minimum conditions are met.
