Sarah is a 19-year-old who has been diagnosed with ADHD, Social Anxiety, and depression. She has always loved riding and has an extreme passion for horses. She wants to be a show jumper when she is older. Or so she thought she did...Sarah has recently gained a lot of weight, causing others in her family to notice.

She was tired of the hurtful and rude comments from her mother, brother, and grandma, so she began evacuating. This started as a once-a-day situation but now it happens after every meal.

She has since lost over 125 pounds, she weighs close to 93 pounds. At her age and height, she should be in the mid 100's. Sarah does not believe she has an eating disorder, she believes she is helping her figure.

She recently began to show jumping after 6 months, and has fallen off 10 times from the lack of energy. 2 of these times have ended in a hospital visit. She has had recent thoughts of self-harm, due to her depression.

Sarah is ready to be herself again, and ride in the upcoming winter show. She has 4 months to prepare. Although her main concern is winning at the show.

Your center has a client who has a diagnosis of level 3 ASD. He attends ABA / IBI Therapy full-time, 5 days a week. When the client is experiencing a lot of emotions, they self-harm by hitting themselves in the head.

When you came in for your afternoon shift you found the client being restrained by a placement student. Company protocol states that all placement students have a no-contact policy with clients. You immediately ask the student what they are doing, and she states "I didn't want him to hurt himself."

When you bring this to your supervisor's attention they tell you that they will look into it, but provide no follow-up questioning.

My child, Jimmy, is going to be in their session with Jaime from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm on Thursday. I am just wondering if I am able to walk around the facility and talk to other therapy staff members on-site?

Also, I have a service animal, do you have any cats or dogs at the barn? They can't be around my service animal or she will get distracted. Please ensure there are no loose animals around while I am at the facility.

The Horse Therapy Centre of Canada has been delightfully chosen to offer a beautiful, retired horse, a forever home.

The horse has gone through one week of quarantine.

Two days have passed and the horse has developed a worsening cough, they have not been eating much of their feed/hay, and you notice that they have been lying down a lot. You notice their water trough is full, the last time it was filled, was 8:00 pm last night.

Today is the barn manager's day off. The two individuals at the barn are the 14-year-old volunteer whose job is to muck stalls, and you. You have a list of emergency contacts in case of an emergency. The three numbers that you have are for the director, the barn manager, and the emergency vet.
