Application for Inclusion In CCBA Legislative Program For 2023 Resolutions That Are Approved in Principle Or Approved as Amended or Approved With Recommended Amendments

This Application must be submitted for each resolution.

Only resolutions that the Conference Approves in Principle or Approves With Recommended Amendments AND for which this Application was submitted will be considered for inclusion in the CCBA Legislative Program.

Even if the Conference Approves your resolution, it WILL NOT be considered for inclusion in the CCBA Legislative Program if CCBA does not receive this Application.

ALL OF THE QUESTIONS MUST BE THOROUGHLY RESEARCHED AND FULLY ANSWERED. Incomplete or inaccurate Applications may be rejected, or returned to you for revisions. The information that this Application seeks is vital for CCBA's legislative program. Therefore, please take the time to carefully consider and research the informaton that each question seeks before answering.

Our Bar Association (or the author, if it is a 10-member resolution) agrees to assume the following obligations if this resolution is accepted in the CCBA Legislative Program:
If the proponent of the resolution is a Bar Association: We agree to the following. If we fail to fulffill our obligations, we understand that our resolution may not be included in the CCBA legislative agenda.
- Our Association WILL timely respond to all inquiries from the CCBA Representative; and
- Our Association WILL assist the CCBA Board of Directors and the CCBA Legislative Committee; and
- Our Association WILL NOT initiate contact with Legislators or Legislative Staff without approval of the CCBA Legislative Committee; and
- Our Association further understands that failure to honor these obligations may result in this resolution being removed from the CCBA legislative program.
If the proponent of the resolution is a group of 10 delegates, the author of the resolution agrees as follows: I agree to the following. If I fail to fulffill my obligations, I understand that my resolution may not be included in the CCBA legislative agenda.
