Alternatively, if all parties have agreed prior to mediation, to share the combined costs, this will be arranged and included in the client registration forms and payment schedules.

The Cost of the Mediation

1. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) (as applicable). The prices indicated on the site may change at any time without advance notice to you. Purchases will be charged at the price in force at the time your order is validated.

2. The parties together or separately will be liable to the mediator for the mediator’s fees described. Measured Mediation and Professional Services charge the Service Fees in advance or on a payment plan, depending on what the client prefers. If paid in advance, we offer a discount. The fees are listed on the service agreements. If mediation is not to proceed and a Certificate of Dispute Resolution is required, this is included in the fee.

3. If the court requires filing fees for any Services, both parties will be notified for additional payment in advance.

Continued Mediation Services:

1. If follow-up mediation is required after an agreement has been signed, additional sessions may be scheduled to address the agreed issues in dispute, clarify terms, or support implementation of the agreement. The service fees for continued mediation services are an up-front cost of $549 including GST and are provided upon request.

2. Additionally, if there has been a breach of the previous mediation agreement, the continued mediation service is suitable. However, if you have any new issues in dispute, that were not discussed in previous mediation, then it will not be suitable, and a new mediation service is required to address new issues in dispute.

A refund of the service fees will only be provided if:
You cancel in writing to Measured Mediation and Professional Services, via email at info@measuredmediation.com.au within 48 hours of completing your client registration form and Service Fees and neither parties have had their first intake session. A cancellation fee of $499 applies or;
If the Services have been cancelled by us and not rescheduled and neither parties have had their first intake session. No cancellation fee applies.

In using the Website, the Services or when making any payment in relation to the use of the Services, the parties warrant that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Measured Mediation and Professional Services terms and conditions which are available on the website www.measuredmediation.com.au.
