Community Scanning Days
To schedule an appointment, please fill out the information below.
Digitize your family history at one of our Community Scanning Days hosted every Friday at the Montauk Library. Bring in your family photo collections and library staff will assist you with scanning. You will take home a USB drive (and a link to a digital download) with digitized memories to share with your friends and family. Appointments will last up to 45 minutes. Each patron can scan approximately 150-300 photographs per visit, depending on size. Please remove all pictures from albums and sleeves before your appointment. We can accommodate materials up to 8.5 x 11 inches. We cannot digitize fragile or torn photographs, bound materials, slides, negatives, home movies, or audio cassettes at this time.
