Adelaide Festival Centre - writeSPACE 2023 EOIs

writeSPACE is a residency program for creators of new and original written works for, stage, screen, book or zine, including cross-genre works.

We provide a unique opportunity for independent South Australian artists and collaborators to create and imagine new, contemporary and innovative literary works.

This opportunity is artist-led and development focussed. Each artist or group chosen for the writeSPACE program is provided with up to 8 weeks in-kind working space, which comes with screens, stationary, WIFI and printing included. Work-in-progress presentations are a key part of engaging with our subscriber audience at the end of each writeSPACE development, providing valuable feedback from members of the general public and industry to help inform the next stage of your artistic process.

We are aware that the unfunded nature of this residency means that you wont be able to dedicate all of your time to this residency.
