Agreements

These are very important that you understand. The agreements are integral parts of the program, for instance, when it says you cannot miss more than 13 hours to receive certification, that's a true statement and you cannot make up time. If you miss more than 13 hours, you won't receive certification. The course runs like a college course, there is no make up. Each of these agreements talks about a specific item that others have not understood in the past and we want to be very clear about the expectations you will be asked to meet.
I understand this training will involve yogi & Thai bodywork, yogic adjustments, and touch exercises. This is a major part of teaching a yoga class. *

If I suffer from any emotional or physical trauma, I must seek help with a certified practitioner or have done so prior to attending this course. The training teachers are not doctors or certified therapists. *

I understand
I agree to try for 100% attendance. If I miss more than 13 hours I will not receive certification. Even if I don't particularly resonate with the lesson for that day, I understand that I will need to participate for the good of the group. I understand there is no way to make up missed sessions; however I can schedule private sessions for an additional cost if I miss 13 or less hours. All time must be accounted for in order to receive certification. *

Classes meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays 6pm to 9pm and Saturdays 10:30am to 6:30pm. I understand I must attend all of these classes. Practicum is the final weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday May 19th, 20th and 21st. You will only be required to go to your practicum class only. Your class will be 1 1/2 hours of time and scheduled during that final weekend. *

I understand that in addition to lecture classes, I must attend 25 studio classes during this training. 5 classes must be completed every 2 weeks of the session and cannot carry over into subsequent weeks.

I understand that attendance, if circumstances allow, at the Retreat in Pine Valley, Utah is required for certification. There are no exceptions. Attendance is mandatory. *

A 70% or higher grade on the final exam is required for graduation *

I understand all payments and deposits made to SCY LLC are final and non-transferable, even in the event of my having to leave to course for any reason. *

I cannot transfer to another session. Once I am accepted, Spring 2023 is the session I will attend. I will not request to transfer to another session. I understand that if I drop out at any time after being accepted I will have to reapply and pay in full for the Spring 2023 session to apply for another session. *

For my safety and my peer's safety, it is never acceptable to be under the influence of drugs, marijuana, and alcohol during a training session. Legal or illegal drug use is not allowed at any time in classes. *

If my behavior is brought into question, the trainers will meet as a group to decide if I will be dismissed from the course. If I am asked to leave the course, I will receive no refunds. *

My $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 5 days of acceptance into the program to hold my space. After the full deposit is paid you can make payments of any amount at any time leading up to the start date online or in person at the studio. All payments are due no later than March 7th. *
