The Edmond Women's Club is a volunteer organization composed of community-spirited women who have combined their talants to promote the cultural, civic, education, and community efforts in the City of Edmond. EWC is offering collegiate scholarships to qualifying young women who are graduating high school seniors.
The Scholarship may be used at the two or four-year college or university of your choice. Monies will be administered through the Bursar's/Finance office and must be used only for payment of tuition, books, fees and education supplies. Funds may be used any semester.
Children of Edmond Women's Club provisional, active, or preferred active members are not eligible for this scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must be:
- United States Citizen
- Graduating Senior
- Female resident of the city of Edmond or live within the Edmond School District
The application must include each of the following:
- Completed Application
- Personal recommendation(non-family member)
- Teacher recommendation
- Approximatly one-page esssay describing why EWC should choose you as a scholarship recipient.
- A certified copy of your high school transcript
TRANSCRIPTS AND RECOMMENDATION LETTERS SHOULD BE EMAILED DIRECTLY TO SCHOLARSHIP@EWC.ORG FROM THE PARTY SUBMITTING AND NOT THE APPLICANT.
INCOMPLETE OR LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Applications are confidential and become the property of Edmond Women's Club.
Applications must be submitted by midnight on February 1, 2023.
If you are selected to advance to the interview stage, you will be contacted the week of February 20, 2023. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
