Expression of Interest | Puppy Application
This application helps me to learn more about you. It allows me to gain a better understanding of what kind of home and life you can offer an Australian Shepherd and if a Norsonix Australian Shepherd is suitable for you.
I very much recommend offering as much information as possible, as this form will be the first step towards acquiring a puppy. There will be space at the bottom of the form for you to add any additional information you feel may strengthen your application.

The aim at Norsonix is to produce balanced, moderate dogs with sound temperaments and exceptional biddability. I aim to produce versatile dogs who will thrive in various performance sports including Herding, Tracking, Scentwork, Agility, Tricks, Rally, Obedience, Dances With Dogs and more.
All health testing is completed prior to breeding including Hip & Elbow scores, DNA testing and Eye certificates annually on both parents.

Here at Norsonix, breeding will be infrequent and people with performance plans and active homes will be given preference.

Puppies will be raised in the home with enrichment following elements from the puppy culture programme.

All puppies will be evaluated against the breed standard for conformation and be temperament tested to best match them with potential homes. Before they leave they will be vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and have eyes cleared. All puppies will be placed on limited register with DogsWest (NOT for showing or breeding) NO puppies will leave prior to 8 weeks and some may stay longer. Puppies will come with an extensive puppy pack and a life time of breeder support.

Potential homes whose applications match particular puppies will be contacted and offered home visits, zoom meetings and phone calls to further ensure puppies are placed in their best possible forever homes.
Completing this Expression of Interest does not guarantee availability of a puppy nor does it require you to purchase a puppy should one be available to you.

Please tell me about what you are looking for in your search for an Australian Shepherd.
Are you hoping for a couch potato best friend, a performance prospect, show prospect, hiking buddy or therapy / assistance dog?
Please understand with my personal goals within the breed I may not have a suitable household pet, I will be producing with the aim of high achieving, versatile performance and working dogs. These puppies may not be suitable as an average pet dog and applications will be thoroughly considered to best match homes.
Australian Shepherds offer a considerable variety within the breed. There will likely be Natural bob tails, full tails and anything in between. They can be Red, Black, Red Merle and Blue Merle all with or without tan points. Please note, I am not expecting any Red tri or Red merles at this stage. Please be aware that puppies will not be placed in homes based on applicant’s colour preference, but on the best suited temperament and personality for the particular home. There will be NO PRICE DIFFERENCE between solid coloured dogs and merles – anyone who changes prices based on colour is a HUGE RED FLAG and I implore you to consider alternative registered breeders.
