To comply by law, it is essential and incumbent on trade stand holders to provide a risk assessment of their display and to ensure all current rules, regulations and statutes are adhered to. Please complete the template below. Alternatively if you have your own comprehensive risk assessment you may submit a signed copy of it but please state this below in the template.

Trade Stand Fire Risk Assessment
In order to comply with the relevant fire safety legislation you MUST complete a Fire Risk Assessment for your stand.

Have your staff been instructed in how to raise the alarm (including temporary staff) and how to use a fire extinguisher?
Do you have sufficient fire extinguishers available of a suitable type and size?
Have your fire extinguishers been inspected in the last 12 months by a competent person/company?
If you are cooking on site do you have a fire blanket?
Will your fire extinguishers be sited where they are available for easy use (not in your vehicle)?
Is there a 'No Smoking' sign clearly displayed at the entrance to your stand/exhibition?
If your tent or marquee is over 6.5m in length, do you have an additional exit which has suitable exit signage?
Are all staff aware to keep the area tidy and free from trip hazards?

If you are using LPG is it stored outside your marquee and secured so that it cannot be knocked over or tampered with?
If you are using LPG please ensure you have a minimum of 5kg powder extinguisher provided for every 2 cylinders.
Are you aware that you must not sell/exhibit certain items? e.g. fireworks, garden flares, lit tea lights/candles (unlit tea lights/candles are acceptable)

I/we confirm that we have read and understood the terms & conditions of the trade stand booking. Please refer to our 'terms & conditions' pdf. document.
I/We confirm that we hold current and appropriate levels of third party insurance for such an event. A copy of your public liability certificate is required.
I/We confirm that we hold current and appropriate levels of employee liability insurance for such an event.
Where appropriate we hold Health & Safety and Hygiene certificates applicable to all the latest regulations.
