Devon Troop 50 BSA sponsors various indoor and outdoor activities, both at Camp Jarvis and at remote locations. Many of these activities involve a potential risk of serious bodily injury. Neither Devon Troop 50 BSA, nor its sponsoring organization, Devon 50, Inc. can guarantee safety during these activities. I am willing to engage in these activities and if there are children's names below I am willing for them to engage in these activities as well. despite the risk that we might be seriously injured. I assume all risk for loss, damage, or injury (including death) to myself and the child(ren) named below from any cause whatsoever.

By signing this document, I on my own behalf, and on behalf of the child(ren) named below, release and agree to hold harmless Devon Troop 50 BSA and its sponsoring organization, Devon 50. Inc., as well as their trustees, scoutmasters, assistant scoutmasters, and volunteers from all liability, loss, claims, and demands that may accrue from any loss, damage, or injury (including death) to my person or to the child(ren) named below, in any way resulting from, or arising in connection with these activities, from any cause whatsoever including but not limited to, in whole or in part, the negligence, recklessness or other liability- producing conduct of Devon Troop 50 BSA, Devon 50. Inc., or its trustees, scoutmasters, assistant scoutmasters, and/or volunteers, whether that negligence, recklessness, or other liability-producing conduct was sole or partial, and regardless of the date on which that negligence, recklessness, or other liability-producing conduct occurred.

This waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement shall remain effective for activities occurring within one year of the date on which this document is signed. 

I have read and understood the foregoing and am voluntarily signing below. intending to be legally bound hereby. If a minor's name is listed below, the parent or legal guardian states as follows: I am signing both on behalf of myself and on behalf of all minor children listed below; I represent and warrant that I am doing so with the consent and approval of my spouse or co-guardian (if any) and I understand that I may be giving up the rights of my child(ren) and spouse to sue as well as giving up my own right to sue.
