Priority SAR does not require you to obtain an LTC, however if you hold one you are allowed to carry a concealed or open side arm when and where allowed and all state and federal laws must be followed.
Priority SAR requires all members including ranking officers and auxiliary members to pay a yearly Dues of $120 ($10/month) this helps pay for equipment, tools, fuel and response efforts.
