The Montgomery S.T.E.P. Foundation is a 35 year old faith-centered, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving at-risk youth and families in Montgomery, Alabama. Our mission is to present the Gospel in at-risk communities by mobilizing churches, volunteers, and other agencies who are helping elevate people to a better life. We offer various programs and services to help children and their families, such as mentorship, counseling, violence prevention training, and educational support. 2. Sign in so that we can acknowledge/credit your hours of service.

3. Dress appropriately for each setting - comfortable/casual.

4. Be warm and inviting to those you are serving.

5. Do not discipline participants; report inappropriate behavior to S.T.E.P staff on site.

6. Refrain from physical contact, gestures, or comments that can be interpreted as sexual harassment among participants.

7. Do not enter restrooms with participants; do not be alone or out of view with participants.

8. Enjoy yourself and build wonderful relationships with participants.

9. Pray for the success of the event and that Jesus would get the glory!

10. Be willing to undergo a background check if needed.
