Session 1 | Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, 1 - 3 p.m.
Session 2 | Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, noon - 2 p.m.
REAP 2.0 is designed to provide MPOs and other Eligible Entities with tools and resources to help implement and advance plans, primarily by furthering the Sustainable Communities Strategies (SCS).
The REAP 2.0 Program Objectives defined in the State’s Final REAP 2.0 Program Guidelines are:
- Accelerating infill development that facilitates housing supply, choice and affordability;
- Affirmatively furthering fair housing; and
- Reducing vehicle miles traveled.
SCAG’s REAP 2.0 program will provide grants to regional entities, primarily metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), through a combination of formula and competitive-based programs.
SCAG will host two virtual listening sessions to share an update on the REAP 2.0 program. Attendees will learn about the program development status, key components of the program, and the three programmatic areas of SCAG’s REAP 2.0 Framwork, approved by the Regional Council in July. We encourage attendees to join us to learn more about eligibility, partnership opportunities, and much more!
