It’s time again to participate in our community outreach at the NEW Community Shelter. Bridge Point Church has the privilege of making and serving lunch on Saturday, October 22nd. The number of people we are serving is growing each time. We are providing a warm, healthy meal to those in need. Our BPC family has done an amazing job donating to the shelter meal. We can’t thank you enough for your support.
We will be serving a Fall ‘Chili Dump’!! You make your own version of chili- tomato base, not too spicy hot please! We’ll take everyone’s chili and mix it all together!
We will be needing volunteers to supply food items and people to serve on that Saturday. Our August cook out meal fed 205 people. What a great way to reach out to our community!
Please drop off food items at church by 8:45am on Saturday October 22nd.
Meet at NEW Community shelter at 10:15 for prayer.
Make your favorite recipe of chili – tomato based, not too spicy! With or without noodles.
If you choose to donate the fresh vegetables, we’d greatly appreciate you washing and cutting up the cauliflower and /or broccoli into bite size pieces ready to serve.
*If for some reason you are unable to provide food items that you have signed up for or to serve, please contact Tom or Barb LeMense at 920-639-6463 (Tom) or 920-370-3847 (Barb) at least 24 hours prior.
THANK YOU for helping serve and feed New Community residents as well as other locals who are in need of a warm meal and a friendly smile!
