This form will help us setup your Direct Link Service with Bandwidth.
Please note the following requirements for an interconnection with Bandwidth:
- Customer must advertise public IP address space that they own, or public IP address space they are authorized to use as granted by an LOA (Letter of Authorization) or SWIP. For the purposes of this form, any IP space that has been allocated via SWIP, is considered to be the customers.
- Customers may NOT advertise private IP prefixes to include:
- RFC 1918 IP space (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16)
- Link Local IP space (169.254.0.0/16)
- Loopback IP space (127.0.0.0/8)
- CGNAT IP space (100.64.0.0/10)
- Customer must peer and advertise prefixes using BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).
- Customer must peer using their own public BGP autonomous system number, or they can peer with us from one of the following pre-approved private autonomous system numbers:
- 2 Byte private range - 65534
- 4 Byte private range - 4294967000 to 4294967294
- Bandwidth supports the following types of customer interconnections:
- Physical cross connects
- Megaport virtual circuits
- Equinix Fabric virtual circuits
- Specific requirements for physical cross connects:
- Customer must deliver a 1G or 10G Single Mode Fiber handoff to a patch panel location indicated by an LOA (Letter of Authorization).
- 10G hand offs require high traffic utilization and are subject to approval.
- For physical cross connects, customer must be able to get to one of our peering locations.
