The sample holders have space for 8x 200 μl PCR tubes in a strip, plus a 1.5 ml tube that is typically used to contain a matching buffer for batch mode experiments.

All manual samples should be mounted either directly in a plastic multi-purpose cell (MPS) stick where they can be sealed in with kapton tape or loaded into a capillary that can be sealed with hot glue and then place in the MPS stick. Select 0 if not relevant.

Sample Preparation

We centrifuge all samples received via remote access at 15,00rpm for 5 minutes. If this is not suitable for your samples, please email b21@diamond.ac.uk.

Customs

If you are sending samples from abroad, please be aware that samples can be held for an extended period. Please look out for your tracking information and contact b21@diamond.ac.uk if you notice your samples are stuck at customs.

Data protection note

Your name, address, phone number and email are required by our courier for shipping. Your details will be kept in our system for up to 6 months and will only be used to send more holders. If you would like us to remove your details from our system, please email b21@diamond.ac.uk and let us know.
