ETSU's Alternative Breaks program seeks to create a society of active citizens by immersing individuals in education, service, and reflection around a variety of social justice concerns facing the world today.

Join one of our Alternative Breaks experience teams, travel outside of our region, and tackle some of today's most pressing social issues through direct service and education.

This Spring Break, ETSU Alternative Breaks is exploring five unique issue areas:

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that facilities or support services will be available at each site in the same range and quality as on the ETSU campus. We encourage students to share with us any requests for accommodations that will best allow full participation in an Alternative Break experience. I understand that if I withdraw from an experience after paying the $50 deposit, I may still be responsible for additional costs already accrued by the AB program on my behalf.
