TNT Foster Application

Thank you for your interest in fostering for Tails in Transit Rescue (further abbreviated as “TNT”). We take pride in caring for our animals and hope to find fosters who care just as much as we do! We look forward to learning more about you. Please read our general requirements before submitting a foster application. Thank you!

Applications must be filled out completely and truthfully. Applications that are not filled out completely will not be processed.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
We do not place our pets on a first come, first serve basis, but rather place them in the home that is the best fit for the pet.
All current pet(s) in the home must be up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and spayed/neutered if 6 months or older. If a pet does not meet these qualifications due to a medical reason please specify.
Please be aware of any rental/HOA/city ordinance restrictions such as breed/weight restrictions, number of pets allowed, etc.

Do you drive or have access to a vehicle to take your foster dog to appointments?

Are you willing and able to medicate your foster dog? (This could be monthly preventatives or other medication depending on each animals needs, thorough instruction as well as preventative/medication and supplies will always be provided by the rescue)

We cannot guarantee a dog to be housebroken. Do you agree to train with love and patience?

Are you willing to use an appropriately sized open-wire crate, if recommended (crate provided by rescue if needed)?

I understand that applying does not ensure approval and that untruthful answers or failure to comply with the requirements of this application can result in the forfeiture of any TNT animal fostered by me.
I certify that the above information is correct, and I understand that the information can and will be verified.
I understand that by submitting this questionnaire, I agree to release and covenant to hold harmless TNT and it's members from any claims, damages, costs, or actions incurred because of the care or actions of the foster animal.
I accept full responsibility for the animals(s) actions at all times, and release TNT from any liabilities or damages that may be incurred because of fostering such animal(s).
I agree to have TNT complete reference call checks and potentially conduct a home visit to be able to approve my foster application. Along with potential random home checks if TNT deems necessary.
I agree that if I'm unable to foster the dog(s) anymore that I will notify TNT as soon as possible and allow TNT 21 days to find other arrangements for my foster animal(s) while still keeping my foster animal(s) safe with proper care.
I agree to care for the foster animal(s) to the best of my ability and to provide fresh water, food, shelter and love like they were my own animal.
