  • CSTA 2022-23 Volunteer Application

  • CSTA is proud to be an organization that thrives on volunteer support. Help give back and shape the future of CSTA by volunteering for one or more of the following:

    • Committees: While every committee is a little different, committee members participate in one virtual meeting a month and approximately 2 hours of additional work outside of those meetings, for a total of 2-5 hours per month. Committee terms are two years. Most committees will select members in the fall, but others (e.g., conference committee) have a different timeline. The Conference Committee will accept applications in spring 2023, and all other committee applications will reopen in July 2023. If you are interested in volunteering for a committee, this form will help us keep your name on a wait list for once applications open!

    • Conference and Awards Reviewers: We rely on many volunteers to review both conference session proposals and awards applications. This is a shorter, one-time commitment of 2-3 hours at several points throughout the year.

    • CSTA's Voice Author: Write an original, 500- to 1,500-word post to share with the CSTA community. We welcome submissions on any topics relevant to K-12 CS teachers and especially love posts written directly by teachers. See submission guidelines for more information. This is a short, one-time commitment.
