Seed Saving Workshop
Date: Friday June 2nd, 2023
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: Please meet in the lobby, located beside the gift shop. From there we will head out to the Heritage Garden as a group. Please arrive dressed for the weather as the workshop is a hands on approach to seed saving.
Details: You will recieve seed saving materials, storage containers for saving viable seeds, live instruction on specific flowers and vegetables and how to save their seeds.
Join us as we travel back in time in the Hazel McCauley Heritage garden. The Heritage Garden is a replica of everything a family would have needed to survive along time ago. Take a tour with us through farm life in the late 1880's.
This workshop will teach you all about locating seeds of vegetables and flowers, how to save them, how to store them and, educate others about saving their seeds.
We hope that this workshop will inspire you to save your own seeds and develop a love for gardening that can be passed down to future generations!
