Welcome to the 2025-26 ShipBuilder school year. This is going to be our 4th ShipBuilder year! Can you believe it?!?! Welcome back to all our returning AMAZING Shepherds! If this is your first year with ShipBuilders Ministry, WELCOME! We are so glad you have joined our FABULOUS team.
Below are all the areas of ministries and the schools you may serve in. Please select the ministry/school(s) that would best work for you. If there are a couple schools you could possibly serve at, please check the corresponding box and I will place you at the school which needs more volunteers. If you are a returning volunteer and wish to take a break this year (I PRAY YOU WON'T), please check the corresponding box.
MentorSHIPs - 1 on 1 mentoring with a carefully selected student by the school counselor/administration. Commitment requires a 1 hour face to face session with the student once a month. No prior experience required. Plan for 2:30pm - 3:45pm for elementary and 4-5 for middle school. There are only 8-9 gatherings for the entire school year. I ask that if you sign up, please make sure you fully commit to every gathering. These children need to see the same dedicated face every month.

REL Monday Mentorship Dates: September 15, October 27, November 17, December 15, January 26, February 23, March 30, and May 11
Edgemere Thursday Mentorship Dates: September 25, October 30, November 20, December 18, January 29, February 26, March 26, and May 21
Glen Cove Thursday Mentorship Dates: September 18, October 23, November 13, December 11, January 22, February 19, March 19, and May 14
Hanks Friday Mentorship Dates: September 26, October 28, November 4, December 9, January 13, February 17, and March 31
FriendSHIP Club - After school children's bible story time. Spend time with children, answering questions, sharing the Gospel at the appropriate age level. Commitment is 1 1/2 on site, once a month. Plan for 2:30pm - 4 pm.
REL Friendship Club Dates: September 22, October 20, November 10, December 8, January 12, February 16, March 23, and May 18
Pebble Hills Mentorship Dates: September 24, October 22, November 19, December 17, January 21, February 25, March 25, and May 13
Cavalier LeaderSHIP for Christ - Midday bible lesson. Spend time with students, answering questions, sharing the Gospel at the appropriate age level. Commitment is 1 1/2 hr on site, once a month. Plan for 4-5 pm
Hanks C.L.C Dates: September 17, October 29, November 12, December 10, January 28, February 18, and March 18
PartnerSHIP Ministry Volunteers are called upon by the schools more sporadically to help with various activities and school events. A majority of the activities are held during school hours. Volunteers may serve on the activities that their schedule allows. I will compile the list of opportunities from all 5 campuses for every 3 months. Once you sign up, please make sure you are present and on time at the time of the event.
Due to the nature and requirements of this ministry, I ask that you faithfully commit to one/two ministry areas ONLY for the academic school year.
