Priority Release Submission: Official Music Video

    Use this form to request VEVO uploads at least 2 WEEKS PRIOR to the release date.

    Some notes:

    • VEVO takes 48hrs to process the video
    • Your music video can be promoted by our Marketing Services Team
    • You can use the STAR MAKERS DISTRIBUTION Video Uploader for deliveries to Amazon, Apple Music, Nightlife Music, Tencent, TIDAL, United Media Agency, Hungama & XITE.
    • YouTube: Contrary to the other video-supporting DSPs, STAR MAKERS DISTRIBUTION won't be able to upload your Official Music Video to YouTube. You will need to upload the video directly on your own YouTube channel.

    Your artist channels

    • VEVO makes a new YouTube Channel for your artist if you don't have an existing VEVO YouTube channel set up yet.
    • A new artist page needs to be requested 2 weeks before the release date
    • If you require a new artist channel, we will request your VEVO channel name to be: FirstnameLastnameVEVO (unless your artist has special characters in its name, including accents) Please reach out to music@starmakersdistro.com for custom channel names.

    Channel Login/Analytics

    • VEVO artist channels aren't accessible via a separate user login, so you won't be able to access analytics yourself and any profile updates need to be submitted via this form.

    Before you submit this form:

    • Have a download link to the video ready (VEVO SPECS)
    • Have a preview link to the video ready (private link YouTube, Dropbox, Vimeo, etc.)

    • ISRCs & UPC

      A music video is different to a sound recording, even if the same sound recording occurs in the video. This means that a separate type of ISRC must be assigned to the video.

      You can obtain an Audio/Visual ISRC string at your local ISRC agency, found here: http://bit.ly/ISRCAgencies

      If you don't Have ISRCs and UPC we will assign one for you.

By submitting this form you confirm that we shall have any and all rights necessary to use the shared materials and information on DSPs or other third-party platforms. By submitting this video for feature placement, you acknowledge that VEVO may secure sponsorship around the content (including but not limited to ad units that could include carousel logo placement, skinned watchpages, pre-roll, overlay and display). If you have listed brand conflicts, VEVO will avoid those specific sponsors and try and secure a sponsorship with non-competitive brands.
