Photo and Video submission

Multiple photos are welcomed! They may be displayed using a slide show. In addition to the large format for a picture, small versions of each picture would also bee seen.

For website purposes, the images will be compressed. Most people by looking at the pictures will not be able to notice any difference. There is a big difference in data transmission.

I hereby affirm that such release to the releasee does not constitute any form of compensation, including royalties arising from the photographs, to my benefit, heirs or other persons.

I hereby grant to the Oakville Historical Society the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, distribute and create derivative works of the images submitted by this form. These were taken on the walk date selected above, for use in connection with the activities of the Oakville Historical Society for promoting, publicizing or explaining the Society or its activities.

This grant includes, without limitation, the right to publish such images on Oakville Historical Soceity websites including Facebook and Instagram, in our reports and publications and PR/promotional materials, such as marketing publications, advertisements, fund-raising materials, and any other society 
publication.

These images may appear in any of the wide variety of formats and media now available to the Society and that may be available in the future, including but not limited to print, broadcast, videotape, CD-ROM, DVD, flashdrive and electronic/online media.
