The following slides contain information pertinent to the destination. Please read carefully.

For Contiguous US Travel

Your pet will need a valid Rabies Vaccination Certificate with or without a Health Certificate (state dependent). Please look up the interstate pet/livestock travel requirements for ALL states that you will be visiting. It is best practice to take the most stringent state's recommendations to follow.

For travel to CANADA / MEXICO

If traveling by land or sea you only need a valid Rabies Vaccination Certificate. If traveling by air, please review your airline's requirement for travel.

In addition, Mexico may require proof of external parasite treatment within 30 days of arrival. This requires a veterinary clinic to sell, administer, and document the application of Frontline or similar.

International Travel from the US to an EU Country:

The EU countries are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

If your pet has a EU PET PASSPORT -

Please bring all documents and previous records with you to your appointment. If your pet has an EU Pet Passport, this greatly reduces the time required to be approved for travel. This document must originate from an EU country.

If your pet does not have a EU Pet Passport -

Please review the requirements listed on the APHIS website for your destination. Not having a Pet Passport may require sustantial time in order to process (upwards of 6 months for some countries). PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

International Travel to a non-EU Country:

Please review the requirements of your destination country on the APHIS website.

International travel certificates and documentation require endorsement by the USDA at a minimum. The USDA/APHIS location in Tumwater, WA is no longer accepting walk-in endorsements.

We HIGHLY recommend hiring a pet travel specialist for the following countries as we will no longer be providing primary concierge services for the following:

Australia
New Zealand
Japan
Iceland
Bermuda
Jamaica
