The BYU Management Society – Salt Lake Chapter will be awarding two types of scholarships in April 2023: financial need and community serrvice. Scholarship amounts will range from $500 to $5,000 depending on need and merit.
Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled as a high school senior in a high school located in Salt Lake, Davis, Summit, Tooele, Morgan or Weber County. Applicants must graduate high school in the spring of 2023 and plan to attend their first year of college by the fall of 2023 or plan to start their first year of college after religious or military service. Scholarships can be deferred for religious or military service.
Applicants must attend an accredited college or university, including trade/technical schools, within the state of Utah or a University sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on a full-time basis. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the applicant’s school of choice.
THIS APPLICATION WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED IN ONE SESSION. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAVE WORK AND COMPLETE LATER. BEFORE STARTING, PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING READY:
- Explanation of financial need if applying for financial need scholarship
- Information about community service if applying for community service scholarship
- Details on leadership and extracurricular activities
- Two letters of recommendation that you can upload
- Transcript of grades that you can upload
- ACT or SAT scores that you can upload (optional)
- A 1(one) minute video that you can upload highlighting why you should be selected for this scholarship
