  • Southall Church Core Team

We want to help you discern if God is calling you to commit to Southall Church as your home church. Many churches refer to this commitment as membership, we choose to identify it as the "Core Team." This distinction is important because at the heart of every local church, there is a 'core' of people who care and invest deeply in the life and mission of the church. As a member of the Core Team, you will receive important updates from our leadership/elders at our gatherings. Our aim is to provide clarity, answer questions, receive feedback, and work toward the unity of the church as we fulfill the mission of Jesus together. As a part of the Core Team, your responsibility is covered by our Discipleship Commitment.
  • In my desire to follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and live on mission with Jesus, I commit myself to the following standards:

I commit myself to grow in PRIVATE DEVOTION, knowing these spiritual practices will help me abide in the presence of God and grow in intimacy with Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit.

I commit myself to grow in BIBLICAL COMMUNITY, knowing that in order to grow to maturity in Christ I must engage in mutually discipling relationships where honesty, trust, accountability, and vulnerability, help me, and those around me to become like Jesus.

I commit myself to grow in MISSIONAL LIVING, by serving others and sharing the hope of Jesus in my neighborhood, my workplace, my church, and the broader community.

I commit myself to grow in KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP, knowing that every good thing in my life has been entrusted to me by God and I humbly submit to and obey Jesus in order to glorify Him with my time, talent, and treasure.

I seek to fulfill the great commission (Matt. 28:19-20) by intentionally and relationally discipling others. I commit myself to be a disciple that makes disciples so that we might see a multiplicative movement of God begin in and through the life of my church family.
