In support of our 2023 convention theme of PAN H.O.M.E.coming, the PAN Research & Scholarship Committee is offering a series of webinars for this academic year that highlight the unique experiences of Black student affairs practitioners and scholars that amplify how we honor our humanity through scholarship, service, and creativity. As we celebrate Careers in Student Affairs Month, the Pan African Network (PAN) invites you to join us for our Amplifying Black Voices in Community Colleges webinar. With community colleges being the primary post-secondary entry point for students of color, this conversation is an opportunity to engage with panelists who have entered and retained students of color as scholar-practitioners in varying institutional positions. Panelists will center how they uphold their Blackness in the community college sphere while supporting students. Participants will gain insights, strategies and understanding of how Black professionals navigate working in the community college landscape.
