  • GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Possess extremely positive and enthusiastic attitude, passion for and knowledge of the fitness industry.
    • Loves Burn Boot Camp, Bleeds Blue, believes in Burn's core values, supports and lifts others, desires to empower our community.
    • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
    • High-energy, approachable and willing to go the extra mile; do the extra things.
    • Qualified candidates must have proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional or similar type setting.
    • 1-2 years experience in a customer service focused business.
    • Ability to create/display a positive sense of team, while influencing all staff to perform to a higher standard.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
    • Have a high level of understanding and an active presence in social media.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to be punctual; being on time/early for work is critical.

    TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ Years experience leading group fitness and/or one-on-one training.
    • Experienced Certified Personal Trainer. Must hold current fitness certification from a Burn Boot Camp approved authority or ability to obtain approved certification if not acceptable to Burn Boot Camp.
    • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
    • Pass Burn Boot Camp Strength and Conditioning Assessment
    • Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
    • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
    • Entrepreneurial mindset


    GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    CAMP TRAINING

    • Follow Burn Boot Camp Trainer guidelines and directives
    • Program Franchise issued Protocols for camps
    • Deliver pre-designed and custom workouts to groups.
    • Lead and motivate clients throughout intense training sessions
    • Ensure safety of participants in regards to exercise technique.
    • Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels.
    • Be available in times of necessity, to substitute for other trainers who need a coverage, with short notice.

      • Environment – maintain facility as first class, clean, welcoming environment


    FOCUS MEETING / GUIDANCE

    • Track client progress and goals; lead Focus Meetings with clients to provide one-on-one fitness and nutritional guidance.
    • Focus Meeting availability may be required outside of normal camp times.
    • Provide Nutritional Guidance to clients, Burn Nutrition, etc.


    SALES AND MARKETING

    • Build, maintain and grow a highly engaged member base.
    • Address client questions, concerns, etc.
    • Follow up with first camp, promotional, and active members.
    • Create and establish relationships with local businesses to cross market products/services.
    • Market, share, coach and otherwise support members and the business through a consistent and positive Social Media presence, including a consistent response presence on social platforms.
    • Trainer shall maintain an active presence on the Burn Boot Camp Trainer’s Facebook page(s) and similar social platforms to stay current with franchise operations, workouts, trainer challenges, etc.
    • Interaction with clients on social media is a significant responsibility to building and maintaining our member base.
    • Maintain the facility in a safe, clean, neat, presentable, welcoming environment at all times.
    • Practice what you preach. Lives a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs.
    • Be a fitness role model and active in the local community.


    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    • Attend weekly/monthly training/staff meetings and required educational presentations.
    • Actively participate in trainer training, mentoring and similar activities.
    • Attend and Pass 1 Week Burn University Training (in North Carolina), if requested.
    • Abide by the Burn Boot Camp Franchise Operations Manual, and procedures and policies, including responsibilities therein or otherwise issued, not included herein.
