Data resources for Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs)

UNSD is developing a Practical Guide for countries to develop evidence-based Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs). The guide is designed as a hands-on resource to help governments better use data and statistics for preparing their VNRs. It provides recommendations for what should be reported in VNRs, how to compile and present statistics in VNRs and what information to include in these reviews.

In past global workshops with VNR countries, there have been requests for more training or resources, such as data integration, how to use Big Data, and how to incorporate or find/collect data for the VNR on specific Goals. To respond to this request, UNSD is reaching out to the custodian agencies of the SDG indicators and Regional Commissions for any online resources, upcoming trainings or guides that you could recommend to countries for developing VNRs and pertaining to your particular Goal and indicators. Any resources specifically for VNRs are most appreciated.
