I agree that there are 10 levels of lifting pigment out of black hair. The lighter your natural hair is, the fewer levels of color there will be to lift out of your hair when trying to achieve blonde. I agree that this might take more than one session to achieve my desired results in order to protect the integrity of my hair. Example: when bleaching a black towel, as the black dye is being bleached and removed, first it turns red, then orange, yellow, etc. We can only do as much as the hair can handle in one session.
