Micropigmentation is the process of placing pigment into the dermis. This process is considered a permanent makeup tattoo procedure. This procedure can last a 2-4 years and/or indefinitely, depending on skin tone, the intensity of the color that is used and touch ups. This service is a two part process, and requires a "perfecting session" to solidify the final result. Then touch ups are every 2-4 years to refresh pigment.
The following may occur after your procedure:
Discomfort/Swelling: discomfort is tolerable and typically mild and can be eased with over the tylenol.
Bruising: bruising is rare, but if it does occur, it is mild and will resolve within a few days.
Pigment Intensity: immediately following the procedure, the pigment will appear dark/vibrant. The color will fade within 7 to 10 days, and settle into the final color. This is when yu wil schedule a perfecting session.
Color: Color is chosen based on skni type, undertone & desired result. 1st session will be light and can be enhaced at perfecting session.
Pigment Irregularity: the pigment may heal inconsistently, with some areas healing lighter/darker than others. This isnormal and cannot be anticipated. The perfecting touch-up procedure will correct this.
