YOUTH ART APPLICATION for all San Diego Youth Artists Grades 1 to12

The North Coastal Art Gallery (COAL), is a non-profit organization seeking to "Inspire" youth with an opportunity to display their artwork in our gallery at our Carlsbad location in the Village Plaza,300 Carlsbad Blvd, Ste 100, Carlsbad, CA 92008.

Categories: Paintings (any mediums), Mixed mediums, Drawings, Photography, Digital Art, Textile (hanging or standing (you will need to furnish a stand if it is not hanging),and 3D artwork (Sculptures). NO AI work will be accepted as we do not allow it in the gallery.

INSTRUCTIONS ARE ATTACHED TO THE EMAIL YOU WILL RECEIVE. BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD IT AND REVIEW THE DETAILS FOR ENTRY.
- Deadline to Submit: April 14, 2025
- Take-in date: Saturday, May 3, 10am to 1pm (no exceptions please, Art is being judged the same day)
- Awards Reception: Saturday, May 10, 3-5pm
- Enter all details.
- Up to (2) entries of 2D and 3D artwork is accepted. No artwork larger than an 11x14, (but can be smaller)
- Wall art must be framed or on canvas to exhibit with a hanging hook or alligator hook on the back. No unframed paper art is accepted.
- 3D works (Sculptures) no larger than 14"h with a base no larger then 12"x12" can be accepted.
- All entrants will be notified of all art that is accepted into the show to prepare on: April 20, 2025. You will be guaranteed (1) piece of artwork to be in the show, based on the response of all grade levels.
- NO IMAGES NEED BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION
- Review and printout the Art Preparation instructions. You will be sent further details on April 20th.

Artwork Submission Guidelines/Instructions
- 2D and 3D artwork is accepted. No artwork larger than an 11x14, (can be smaller) but must be framed or on canvas to exhibit.
- Artwork Preparation: Must have a hanging apparatus attached on the back so it may be hung. We accept art that hangs with a wire or an alligator hook on the back.
Please review the attached INSTRUCTIONS, Keep them for furture reference.
- Please label the back of your artwork with the child's name, art title, and phone #. This sheet is included in the instructions below.
- Bring it with you when received, so please be prepared when you bring your art in.
- Review, download, and print all the instructions below.
