Agreement/Release: As a parade participant, I accept responsibility for my assigned area and agree to leave the area free of debris. Any physical damages that occur during my occupancy will be repaired at my expense. I will abide by all laws, codes and ordinances set forth by the State of Georgia, Newton County, and the City of Porterdale. I agree to indemnify and hold Newton County, the City of Porterdale and its agents harmless from all and any claims, damages, liabillity or expenses arising from my participation in the parade/market. I release Newton County, City of Porterdale and its agents from any liability for any damages sustained by myself or any other person claiming by, through or under myself due to the use of the premises or area, and from any acts or omissions of myself or any persons. Newton County, City of Porterdale shall not be liable for any damages to or loss of my personal property from any cause whatsoever.
In addition, I will participate and decorate my vehicle in a positive holiday and tastful manner representing the Christmas Holiday theme. Anyone deemed offensive will not be allowered to participate. The City of Porterdale will use their descretion to determine any unlawful participation.
