The Florida State University National Black Alumni, Inc. (FSU BA), is proud to host the “2023 FSU BA Homecoming Reunion” in Tallahassee, October 20 – 22, 2023, which will coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of the FSU BA. We are reaching out to fellow alumni, previous sponsors and supporters, community members, and businesses across the nation to offer a tremendous opportunity to participate as sponsors for this historic Reunion.
The annual FSU BA Homecoming Reunion brings several hundred Black alumni and their families back to Tallahassee for a weekend of fun-filled and enriching activities. Our Reunion provides a perfect platform for sponsors to market their businesses to our Black alumni database, while supporting the fundraising efforts of the FSU BA as an organization.
As you know, the FSU BA provides thousands of dollars in annual scholarships to students at FSU. But that is only part of our mission! The FSU BA annually sponsors, hosts, and promotes numerous on and off-campus events aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Black students, faculty, staff, and alumni; mentoring current students and providing professional development opportunities for alumni; recruiting Black students to attend FSU; and increasing the number of Black faculty, staff, and administrators within the university. Our 2023 goal is to raise $50,000 to cover organizational operating expenses, so other fundraising efforts can be directly earmarked for our endowed scholarship fund.
