NASPA Pharmacy Based Point of Care Test & Treat Certificate is a 20 hour course consisting of 16h home study and 4h live webinar. This certificate is recognized in all states (except Florida) and covers disease states eligible for test and treat, how to perform physical assessment and specimen collection, current and future opportunities for testing, and lots of great cases to practice with. The cost for this course is $295 for KPhA members and $425 for non-members.
KPhA Point of Care Test & Treat CE is still in development but will be a 3-4 hour CE available live and on-demand starting late spring/early summer. The material will be specific to the Kansas statewide protocols and will cover epidemiology, physical assessment, workflow, and implementation needs. The cost for this course is estimated to be $100 for KPhA members and $175 for non members.
