Cat Adoption Form

Please fill out the adoption form below. Please be honest, it's crucial we place these animals in the best homes where they and their families will thrive. Our goal is to place animals in their forever homes where they'll never have to be surrendered again.

Adoption fees are non-refundable
All cats will be spayed/neutered, flea and tick treated, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
All kittens will be spayed/neutered, flea and tick treated, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated with their first set of shots.
In the unfortunate event where the animal can no longer be cared for by the adopter, the adopted animal is to be returned to the care of Riverview Rescues.
Once the adoption is completed, all vetting information will be forwarded to the email provided or to your vet.
Riverview Rescues does its best to assess the animals in our care, both health and behaviour-wise. We cannot be held responsible for health or behaviour issues that are not in our control.
If you are adopting an animal with known health or behavioral issues, once the adoption is complete it is the adopter's responsibility.
You must remain in contact with the rescue for updates.
Riverview Rescues is not responsible for any damages to personal property, or injuries to a person or persons and is not legally responsible if any bites or attacks may happen while the animal is in your care.
All adopted cats and kittens must be kept indoors at all times.

Please fill out this form entirely, read the description assigned to the cat you're applying for. If the form is overlooked, or something that has been mentioned does not match, you will not be notified. Your application will be deleted.

Adoption fees are $315.00 for cats and kittens and the payment must be made in full to riverviewrescues@gmail.com upon adoption.

Are you actively applying with other rescues? If so, great! Just let us know so we're aware. If you're looking for other dogs or cats on Kijiji, or through a breeder please do your research on puppy mills and back yard breeders. We are in a animal over population crisis because "breeders" continue to breed unhealthy animals and sell them at astronomical prices. These animals are then surrendered to rescues and shelters due to behavioural or health problems. If your breeder wont let you see all the dogs, see the dogs parents, or unwilling to provide the medical history on the puppies parents, please find someone who will. All dogs who are bred should have the parents health tested, and a reputable breeder would be happy to tell you all about that.
